Education has been a recurring theme throughout my career. Since 1994, I have taught design history, design theory, and design research to numerous bachelor's and master's students in higher education and academic settings. I currently teach third-year students in the Master of Architecture program at ArtEZ. In my classes, I integrate theoretical knowledge with practical design and research skills as much as possible.\n\nBesides lectures and tutorials, I also give lectures and workshops on design, design education, and design research. Most lectures are part of or arise from my publications and research projects.\n\nAs part of my role as a lecturer and professor, I have also organized various workshops, usually in collaboration with artists and designers. Most of these workshops take place within art education settings. I also organize workshops for professionals as part of research processes aimed at encouraging optimal collaboration between project partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
